Bazm-E-Tadeeb International's remit, under the terms of
its original Arts Council award, included the production of four issues of Tadeeb International, its organizational development,
provision of financial awards for the best new writers and the hosting of two
international literary events to bring together established and new writers
from the different cultures.
We fully discharged these
commitments and were able to establish in the Final Report to the Arts
Council, amongst other things, that:
·
the estimated
readership number is 2456, on average, per issue
·
688 writers
contributed to the 4 issues of whom 102 were women artists, 58 were young
artists, 84 were new artists, and 14 new writers were resourced

Now, we are on
the long, hard trail of fund-raising in order to continue and develop our
activities. A crucial aspect of our plans is to exploit website technology
fully. In a twelve month period, www.tadeeb.com received 30302 hits and 5565 visits. Our intention is to produce the journal
online as well as in paper form, with the capacity to buy or subscribe to
either format via the website. Beyond this, we also intend to have a
discussion and comment email facility. We have exciting ideas for
international literary events as well. Watch this space!
We are receiving submissions in a
steady stream and we are in the process of creating the next issue of Tadeeb International. The more submissions, the better,
so, should you wish to make a submission, please present it in Word's rtf
format (Rich Text Format) and send it to tadeebintl@hotmail.com. Please note
that this is the new, and sole, official email address of Tadeeb International. We
shape the literary ‘architecture’ of Tadeeb International with great care, so that material not necessarily included in
one issue will in all likelihood be in another. The Editors work closely with
contributors throughout the editing process.
